Abstract

|
In the previous communication, difference is sensitivity to chemotherapeutic agents
were detected between the S and R forms In the present report this relationship is
discussed in detail , the R variants were induced with S strain by blind transfer in
Long´s media
These R forms and R colonies were significantly more sensitive to chemotherapeutic
agents and slower in growth rate as compare to the original S forms.
The significance of nutritional elements in the sensitivity test was discussed and
marked differences were noticed in the same strain depending upon the difference in the
culture medium
